IRT Open Book support
Email support@secondshifttooling.com and you'll get a reply from the person who wrote the app.
Before you write
Including these makes a bug fixable on the first exchange rather than the third:
- Your device and iOS version — Settings › General › About
- The exam version, shown in the footer of the app's home screen
- Which exam and section you were in, and the question number
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- A screenshot, if the problem is visible
Questions about the exam content
If you think an answer key is wrong, that is not a software problem and emailing it here will not correct it. The questions and the answer keys are governed by the DICP, not by this app, which only displays what the published material says. Raise content disputes through the DICP and your chain of command.
Do write if the app is showing content incorrectly — a chart that won't load, a question that renders wrong, or an answer that isn't being marked the way the key says. That is a bug, and it is fixable.
Requirements
iOS 26 or later, on iPhone or iPad. The app also runs on Apple silicon Macs. Everything is bundled, so it works with no signal; an iCloud sign-in is optional and only carries your progress between your own devices.
Feature requests
Welcome, and genuinely read. The app is deliberately narrow, so the honest answer to most requests is no — but knowing what people are trying to do with it changes what gets built next.
Response time
This is a one-person operation run around a flying job. Most email gets a reply within a week. If something is badly broken, say so in the subject line and it'll jump the queue.
